In-home and Virtual Consultation Services

   The Cognitive Cat, LLC offers the convenience of in-home consults working with guardians and the cats in their lives to objectively assess and develop a personally customized behavior plan that is both practical and applicable for creating lasting changes that enhance understanding and communication while enriching the overall relationship between you and your cat. The  process of these behavior plans is based on an initial in-home visit to gather data and interview guardians. Then using that data along with the observation of the occurring behavior we can determine a plan of action on how to create new realities of preferable behaviors to replace current unwanted behaviors.  

   This initial consult generally lasts  1.5 - 2 hours and a written plan is provided within 48 hours of the consult. A follow-up visit is scheduled for 2 weeks from the initial consult to analyze the data and behavior observed, while also assessing and adjusting the current plan as necessary. After this second consult a follow-up plan will be provided to guardians within 48 hours. During this two week time frame between consults, clients are able to reach out via text or email and James will respond within 24 hours (not to exceed more than 1 response every 24 hours per The Cognitive Cat, LLC's discretion). 

   While James seeks to set each situation up for success, sharing all tools available to create new behavioral realities, the true power to change such realities resides within guardians and the ability to invest time and effort into actualizing and practicing the recommendations provided in the consult and plans. Unfortunately, there is no magic wand when it comes to quick and easy behavior solutions and the ability to invest time and effort will help to ensure your expectation of success.
